/ Free Kit

Your horse feels you before you realise what has changed.

Find your way back to yourself

Your horse may go differently when pressure enters the arena. Sometimes the change begins in your own body: a breath that shifts, a hand that becomes firmer, a seat that loses its freedom.

This free kit gives you three simple tools to help your body settle, stay present when pressure rises, and recognise your own patterns: a breathing practice before you get on, an audio to use around competition, and a weekly tracker to reflect on your rides.

A message worth sharing

Two Young Riders recently got in touch after using the free kit in their competition preparation. Both had qualified for nationals, and both were almost disbelieving of what they'd achieved. One had previously experienced panic attacks in the show arena. The other has since moved up to PSG. They wanted to tell me that the tools had made a difference.

  • Caroline Gaya demonstrating a breathing exercise for riders, from The Arena Reset free kit

    The Rider’s Breath

A short breathing practice to do before you get on, so your body arrives at the mounting block settled and not still in the car park.

  • Studio microphone used to record The Arena Reset, a free audio kit for riders

    The Arena Reset

An audio to listen to before the pressure arrives, at a show or before a hard lesson. One of the Young Riders listened to it while plaiting before her tests.

    Weekly Awareness Tracker

A one-page tracker to fill in after you ride. After a few weeks you'll see when the tension shows up, and what tends to set it off.
